Mrs Marilyn Jones, aged 75, is brought to your clinic by her daughter, Zoe.

Zoe explains that her mother who lives alone, has become very forgetful, e.g. forgetting her way home on some occasions. She does have a history of hypertension, Type 2 diabetes as well as being quite distressed since her husband died of cancer five years ago. Her father had Alzheimer’s disease when she was 45 years old. She received a head injury following a car accident when she lost consciousness for approximately two hours. Mrs Jones left school at the age of 14. At no time has she been on HRT.
