Asthma - Case 1 - Jason

Jason is brought to you this morning. The following is a summary of what you learn from mother. Jason is a 14-week-old male infant. Breast-fed. 3 days of fever and rhinorrhoea. For the last 24 hours he has had recurrent dry, hacking cough, some wheezing, rapid breathing, unsettled behaviour, and difficulty suckling at the breast.
