Helen returns two months later as planned. She is obviously nervous and says she wants to talk to you about continuing baby John’s immunisation schedule. It turns out that one of her old school friends has been trying to persuade her to discontinue as she says that immunisation is not natural and that there are many cases of serious permanent side effects resulting from “these injections”. She has also been told that some are not needed because the diseases no longer exist in this country and she mentions polio.
