Dot aged 23, is 24 weeks pregnant (1^st), and visits you from a small country town. She is staying with her sister whom you know well. She hasn’t felt well and feels tired, and this is the reason for her holiday. She has noticed worsening of ankle swelling, but nothing more. The abdomen is as expected for dates, but her BP is elevated 160/95. The last time she had it measured was two months ago when she was told it was normal. Dot has never been previously told that she had high BP.
