Joanne is a 7 year old girl who presents with marks on her face.

Joanne has previously had clear skin. Over the last few months, her mother has noticed pale patches on her face. These never trouble Joanne but her mother is concerned they are becoming more obvious.
Joanne's general health is good. There is no family history of pale skin patches.
